As a Brand Director for Wolfgang Puck, Richard strove to unify the separate divisions through brand management. Brand analysis, narrative and management has also been conducted with companies including Sunkist Growers and the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel and Events Center.
Identity is the initial pathway to the core of a brand. A companies logo immediately realizes their identity, and their identity places them in the market. Richard has created identities for companies ranging from accountants to entertainment industry icons.
Production designers have a key creative role in the creation of the project, and are responsible for the overall visual look. Richard has had the privilege of doing just that for theme parks, television shows, museum exhibits, location based entertainment and high end retail.

As an artist, Richard is continually striving to grow. He frequently draws at the local zoo and museums.

As a Concept Designer and Design Director for Walt Disney Imagineering, he helped create some of the most widely viewed projects in the world, including Disney’s California Adventure, Disneyland, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Euro Disney and Tokyo Disneyland.
His design company, Amalgamated Studios, has won many awards including The International Council of Shopping Centers, The Themed Entertainment Association, Urban Land Institute and Signs of the Times. Richard’s work has been featured in publications and online by Logo Lounge, House Industries, SEGD and Retail Architecture.
Working as the preferred signage designer for Caruso Affiliated, Richard participated in the creation of one of the country’s premier outdoor shopping destinations, The Grove, along with several other award winning Caruso projects.
